Wintermoor is a fishing village of about 300 people. It is a minor port on the Azure Bay and it is the northernmost port town in the Grindtooth mountains, a well maintained road leads from the coast to Riverward to the south.
There are rumours amongst the fisherfolk of giant fish and other sea monsters that lurk for the unwary in the waters to the north.
The town itself has a fish factory where the catch is processed and salted. A crude but large smithy offers the basics of life. There is a small boat works in town as well.
